Geoff trained Marchello’s dam Dawn Recital, a Desert Sun mare who had the looks and ability, but unfortunately hormonal problems that didn’t allow her to reach her potential.
Geoff recommended the owners breed from her and Marchello (Chello) is a massively strong horse that looks the part and has raced consistently with a strike rate of 22% wins and 54% placings.
Chello always goes onto the track as though he is in a show ring, neck arched, quite proud of himself......and so he should be.
