Geoff and Maureen travelled to Wagga on 25th November to attend the SDRA annual awards night. We had been advised that our promising 3YO, Challenge Accepted, was a finalist in the 3YO of The Year Category. Part-owners Bruce and Sandra Corcoran accompanied us to "enjoy the ride".
From his 7 starts in the 2015-16 year Challenge Accepted had won the MTC Guineas Prelude at Wagga as well as his first start at Albury. He was placed in the metro area when he ran 2nd at Moonee Valley. He also finished 2nd in the 3YO Albury Guineas and ran 4th in the SDRA Championships against much older horses.
He has earned almost $63,000 in a very short time and we are excited about his future.
Challenge Accepted has owners in Perth, Melbourne, Cobram, Corowa, Tallangatta, Wodonga and Albury, so his wins are celebrated far and wide, and heartily we might add!
