Today we said farewell to a beautiful man, Robert Brooks.
Robert was a very special friend to us. He was introduced as a part-owner and as time passed became our accountant. His knowledge was invaluable and he was a generous mentor to Maureen in our business. He went on to become a stable stalwart, having an interest in many horses over the past 25 years. (Some notable ones listed below.)
He had a genuine interest in the bloodstock catalogues when they arrived, and was a keen student of conformation when attending Sales with Geoff. Wonderful stays in Glenelg with Dawn and friends for the Magic Millions sales in Adelaide, will always be memories held close to our hearts.
We will always be grateful for Robert's friendship to all of our family, as he was a true gentleman, loved a chat about life and enjoyed a good wine with family and friends.
Each life touches this world in a way no others can, leaving not only wonderful memories, but lasting imprints in our hearts.
